We were excited to develop the restaurant branding for Bande Nere, a Bali-based pizza restaurant. Bande Nere is a disruptor on the local food scene, offering a new quality of casual dining. To communicate this we created a brand using bold type and a distinctive colour palette, combined with a checked pattern inspired by the tiles on pizza ovens. The custom typography has a subtly retro-Italian feel that also gives a nod to classic pizza branding while feeling fresh and relaxed.
